I don't know if you remember Risky, but it is now 17 days since his amputation and I would just like to say that he's doing great! He's back to his normal happy self, and obviously isn't letting one leg less stop him from doing everything he used to do. He has had what we think is phantom pains (sudden, shooting pains that's made him cry) but now my mum and I are learning massage from a dog masseuse and it looks like it's helping because no pains have occured since his first massage!

Great to hear from you Risky! Thanks for the wonderful update. Please know that sharing this will help others face the same difficult decisions with their own dogs.
FYI: Bella's Pain Relief makes a good hot/cold pack for dogs that actually stays in place!
