Today is Tazzie's birthday!  She is 7 years old.  She didn't really get to celebrate because we had a little health scare on Wednesday.  She woke up at 4:30 am with projectile green vomit (just like “The Exorcist”).  I took her in but her bloodwork was normal so I brought her home with 7 liters of IV fluids and several IV antibiotics.  She stopped vomiting but didn't show any appetite until today.  She finally pooped this evening and out came a large blue piece of rubber (from her hard rubber femur).  I am so glad that she passed that and did not need surgery!  She has to have small amounts of a bland diet for a few days but I promised that I would cook her a turkey breast this weekend.

I guess that I will have to get rid of her chew bones or at least supervise her better.  She normally only gets a little off at a time but obviously her teeth are stronger than I thought.
