After a month, Daddys girl Dasha is losing her fight. She can no longer use steps and is in Pain and also has begun getting seizures. We will be taking her to the vet at the first part of next week where we will let her run free. 
Letting go of Dasha will be one of the hardest things in my 46 years I would have done. Freeing her of pain and this terrible sickness will be one of the most loving things I also have done. I know one day we will meet again. Words cannot describe how we feel at the moment. Are hearts are breaking.

Our hearts and prayers are with you. At times I wish that I did not have the power to make that decision, but then I look into Bonnie's eyes and know that she has given me all her life and all control. It is a tough responsibility, but with that responsibility came the truest, purest, love that we will ever see in our lifetime.
Hang on to that love! It will give you strength.

We are so sad to hear about Dasha. I just wanted to say that we will be thinking of you all in the coming days. Surround yourself with family & friends that will support you. Be kind to youself during this time.

We did talk to the vet and made an appointment for wensday at 5. I am living every moment I have left with her and realize it will get harder as the day aproaches. It truley is a decision of love that I have for her. The only thing I would like everyone who reads this is to love your pets every day from the day you get them till the day they cross the bridge. Take nothing for granted, they can be healthy one day and sick the next. LIVE IN THE MOMENT EVERYDAY AND BE THANKFUL YOU HAVE THEM. Jim and daddy's girl Dasha
I am so sorry. This is such a hard thing to do. You are right - it is also a loving and respectful thing you are doing for Dasha. Thank you for being caring and responsible, and for helping her complete her journey through life.

My heart goes out to you- I know what a difficult decision it is to make- but like you said, it is the ultimate decision of love- for our faithful companions. Forever in your heart the memories will stay- and yes I am sure you will meet again.
