It is now nine months since Avy had his back leg amputated due to cancer. Β We opted not to do chemo because the difference would only be a few months or so we were told. Β It would be 2-3 without as opposed to 6-12 with. Β He is still doing great and enjoying every day. Β It is great for a worry wort like me to see the free spirit of a dog who has no idea how long he has to live. Β They truly Live in the moment. Β Something people would be wise to learn.

At his check up last month our vet wasn't able to detect any symptoms of cancer at the moment. I am still hyper vidulent for any changes in breathing but so far so good.

Loving him one day at a time.

Happy 9 months Avy! Β Way to show you are a special boy and statistics can be blown out of the water! Β It is amazing how much we can learn from them about just living each day fully and joyfully and no worries about the tomorrow's in life. Β The life lessons our Max taught me will serve me well forever. Β Hugs to you and handsome Avy!
