Hi everyone,
We finally have a diagnosis and it is chondroblastic osteosarcoma. Is there anyone else out there who has had this subclass? I am trying not to over Google this and wait for our appt with the oncologist next week, but it is hard!
At least Lacy is doing much better today and has had her restrictions lifted! She was a very happy girl when I let her go outside without me attached to her. I am still not letting her go down the four stairs to our patio by herself though. Sometimes she is careful and other times we have to make sure she doesn't jump all four at once!

It sounds like a combination of chondrosarcoma which my dog had/has and osteo.(but don't quote me on that) Now I know the chondrosarcoma is not as aggressive as osteo however it does not respond to chemo or radiation. Buster is 6 months since his amputation. I am courious as to what the oncologist recommends?

It's good you have a diagnosis and a starting point. But oh boy, do we know how hard it is not to overwhelm yourself with information! Hang in there my friend, and stay pawsitive. Let us know what the oncologist says, this is a new one for us here, we haven't heard of this specific cancer.
