Yep, you'd see the pain patch (Fentanyl) if there was one. Is he on any other meds?
Some dogs don't like ice at all, our Wyatt Ray doesn't. Make sure you're using a towel between the ice and him and if that doesn't work try cutting the amount of time you try, and feed lots of treats too!
