Anyone had any experience with setting up a set of wheels for a tripawd? thinking of getting Rooster a set of wheels from Eddies Wheels . Just wondering if anyone has dealt with this . Thanks......

Is Rooster not getting around very well?
The only thing I would worry about is the leg muscles may atrophy if not being used. You're not close to any place for rehab are you? Water therapy really can build up the leg muscles. We have one member that takes her back rear amp dog to water therapy 2-3 times a week and she gets around like a gazzelle! And she is 13, maybe older!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Mostly its the fact that he loves to run and loves even more so to pull me along. He gets around well and is fast enough now on three legs that i cannot keep up with him in my chair and cannot catch him . He has plenty of running room with three acres to run on ,but I just figured after seeing the vids about Eddies Wheels ,that it would help him to run again for longer distances then he may be able to with just three legs . Before his amputation he would run for miles towing me or chasing after the ATV ,and now though he sprints really fast ,being such a big dog he tires pretty quickly . I know after this Chemo is done he will gain more strength ,but i would still love to see him be able to really run for the long distances he loves .

Also it wold be used more as a person uses a bicycle ,then for every day movement .He is quite fast and agile on three legs but it would be nice to get him out and really let him run . I live in the middle of nowhere and its 75 miles in any direction for any rehab ,we are working on core strengthening now and box with him and play tag and such . The Eddies Wheels looks pretty simple and quick to hook him into and out of and being in a chair for almost 30 years we are in tune to the whole range of motion aspect of keeping the muscles in decent shape ,and him being able to use them i think he will keep them in shape ......
