Exercise for my 9 month old GSP

Hello,

2 months ago my 9 montv old GSP got in an accident and was then diagnosed with a brachial plexus injury . We are taking him for underwater therapy and rehab sessions . He has lost complete use of his left forelimb. While we still harbor hope that feeling might return I wanted to get some advice on how much I can exercise him. He is a real joy, and was up running on the 3rd day after his injury , theres not a single thing that he used to do that he doesn't now, even the vet is surprised. Before we did do long walks with him and my other dog (weim) . Did a lot of scent work and also lot of hikes . Considering his breed and how much we exercised him before how much should I be managing his activity ?

So is your dog a Tripawd? That would help us give you better information and tips. Handling a young dog with an injury is challenging! For now by best advice is to work with your therapist to find out what his current capabilities are / are not. This post may also help shed some insight:
