Doggy Compression Sleeve - who's tried one?

Given that Izzy is twelve and lost a front limb, I'm concerned about her carrying 65% of her weight on just one leg. I hear it cracking when she hops so was thinking a compression sleeve <a href="">like this</a> one might offer some support. As long as Izzy doesn't try and chew it off, it may be beneficial. Honestly, I don't think has had too many three legged patients ... we don't exactly live in a "high income" area, so most pet owners in my situation around here would've put their animal down for lack of funds for surgery. However, she didn't rule it out down the road for support.
