Hey everypawdy, here's a link to an important pet food study we spotlighted recently on Tripawd Talk Radio. Until midnight tomorrow, all donations to the Companion Animal Nutrition and Wellness Institute (CANWI) will be matched by a natural health research foundation.
This episode of Tripawd Talk Radio features Dr. Raditic sharing details about CANWI’s exciting study of pet food diets.
Dr. Raditic just sent us this note that perfectly illustrates the importance of this study.
"It has always been hard to understand why human nutritionists recommend consuming a diet of fresh foods, a variety of foods, and LIMITING manufactured processed foods.
Yet, every day so many dog and cat bowls are filled with the same dry or canned manufactured processed pet food. And veterinarians tell you not to feed them table food, even if it is fresh, healthy food you eat! Is this truly the best nutrition we can provide them?
CANWI has gathered an amazing team of veterinary nutritionists and scientists who need our funding to study the effects of feeding processed commercial pet food as compared to fresh food. We know this study will help all of us to understand and select the pet foods that mean best nutrition.
We are reaching out for your donation today. It has been best summarized by this from a CANWI supporter:
“I was thinking about CANWI. And what you all are trying to do. In our family food was love. It was everything. And In my mind, the purest form of love is our animal companions’ love.
So why would anyone give the purest love of your life tainted, unhealthy food? When we have the opportunity through CANWI and this research, to give Pure Love.... Pure Food to our little love angels?
When I make their food, I pour my hearts love into each bite hoping they know how much I appreciate and love them. It is like a vessel to their soul.
Thank you for touching our lives. And helping us to learn how to feed our angels the best we can…”
We need every pet parent to support CANWI.
