Hi all,
I am so sorry I haven't posted in so long! I didn't realize how long it's been!
Angel is AMAZING! We went on vacation early August (with the 6 dogs) to a Bed, Breakfast and Biscuit near Austin. Angel actually swam in the creek (she never swims) and she ran with the rest of them. It is a 1/4 mile walk to the creek, so I thought for sure she would be worn out when we got back to the cabin, but she still didn't quit! She played and played. The only part that she couldn't do was get up a hill covered with rocks, so she would plop down and wait for me to carry her. She's busy hunting frogs in our pond, keeping the other dogs in check, chasing the big dogs while barking non-stop, squeaking her toys and snuggling with her mom and dad. She is thoroughly enjoying life. This afternoon she has her first haircut since before the accident. I'm going with and staying to watch since she has so much scarring. Then there will be a photo shoot at the house because she'll be so beautiful!
Thinking of you all,
Ruth and the 6 Pack
Ruth, it's so great to hear from you! What an incredible girl she is, just remarkable. We're so glad to hear that she is out there playing and keeping up with the pack. How awesome!!!! Proves to even the most hardened cynic that dogs can overcome the biggest obstacles better than any old human can.
Neat that you go to to go a B&B that allows 6 dogs to stay there! We'd love to see some pics of Angel's photography session. Enjoy!

Hi Ruth and thank you for the update. I've been wondering how Angel was doing. What a strong little girl! And you get some credit too for helping her to this point. Keep the stories coming!
Mary and Cemil
Cemil and mom Mary, Mujde and Radzi….appreciating and enjoying Today
Hi Ruth & Angel! It's great to hear that Angel is doing so well. Keeping up with the pack, running, playing and still being the cuddle bunny. We can't wait to see the pictures from the photoshoot.
Eleanor & Chuy
Chuy, showing everyone that Tripawds do everything 3 times better than regular dogs!
I'm so glad you posted, I've been wondering how you guys were doing. I was so afraid something was wrong. Love that the dogs got to go on vacation with you, that is too cool.
Hugs to little Angel.

Good to hear Angel is doing so well! It sounds like a fun vacation. Is Bed, Breakfast and Bark privately owned or a chain?
Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
How wonderful!!!!!! I have an awesome vision of the 6 dogs running together hunting for frogs and playing by the creek. Great to hear that Angel is enjoying life and you are enjoying her!!
Gineej & Paris
Grateful for every moment we had with Paris…..no regrets!
Honoring her life by opening our hearts & home to Addy!
The cabin we went to is Decker Creek Bed, Breakfast and Biscuit in Manor, TX (near Austin). We got married there last summer. I have stayed there around 8-9 times. It is the only place we can take all of our dogs. They have 50 acres, a creek, 2 beautiful cabins (with full kitchen, AC, hot tubs) and breakfast every morning (the best part). It's 15 miles from Austin, but we mostly just hang out at the cabin and go for walks to the creek. The hosts are wonderful people and have become our friends.
Thanks for the scoop! It looks pawsome! When we head south to Texas this winter, we'll definitely check it out. How fun!!!
