and I can't remember my password or username or anything that would help me get my blog back, so I have started anew!

I was thinking about you all as I brought Nya (potentially previously spelled Nia--thank my son for that), to a new vet because we moved upstate.  Our new vet left a lot to be desired and I knew you all would understand how incredibly important it is to have a good vet and perhaps when people are in the chat room (it's empty at 8:21am this morning) you all can help me brainstorm options or whether it was as bad as I though.

Honestly, as a kid didn't we all at least briefly want to be a vet?  Why? because we loved animals!  Thus, it is beyond me how a vet wouldn't seem to love animals.

glad to be back--see you soon!

I agree...some of the vets you come across you wonder "why are you even a vet?"  It's so difficult finding a good fit for you and your precious fur kid.

I joked with my husband recently that when our Leland was going through all his issues I wish we would have been closer to Denver, CO.  There's a new series on Animal Planet called Dr. Jeff  Rocky Mountain Vet that I've gotten hooked on watching Saturday nights.  Now he definitely seems to be in it for the love of animals and isn't out to bankrupt pet parents.  My husband said if he'd known about Dr. Jeff we would have driven our boy out there to see him (we live in WV so it's not like Denver is right around the corner) and I think he was serious...oh-my

Anyway, if you don't feel good about this new vet then keep looking.

Sahana and her Angel Leland and Lucian too

May you finally be healthy and running free at the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again my sweet boy!
