The other day we learned from Tanner's mom Elizabeth that he was a star at a local event known as the Riverrock Festival:
Tanner was a star yesterday at the Riverrock festival. He had his pic taken in his Ruffwear harness by the Ruffwear guys. He said "Can I take his pic, we have a big following of Tripawds" (you don't say…lol). We were stopped by a lot of people, and apparently there were quite a few Tripawds walking around but we never saw them (there were hundreds of dogs)……booth next year at RiverRock Jim/Rene???? Its one of the best outdoor adventure festivals on the East Coast!
Well, we asked Ruffwear if they could share those photos and here they are!
Ain't he the cutest? Elizabeth is that you in the second photo?

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

OK I've gotta point out something REALLY funny that Admin Guy just noticed ....
If you look at Elizabeth's hand in that first photo of Tanner in front of the booth, she appears to be holding up a teeny, tiny K9 Float Coat! I hadn't noticed that before but now I'm just laughing so hard!

Ha! I didn't even notice that......we should caption it:
"why yes, that should fit the cat puuuurfectly" (insert evil laugh)

Good job Tanner and Elizabeth (and whoever is holding the leash?).
There was Nor Cal Tripawds meet up several years ago where there were 6 or 7 Tripawds and they all were wearing Web Master's (except Maggie who did eventually get one, about the size of the tiny float coat !). I remeber Caira Sue's dad saying something like "this looks like a Ruffwear advertisement!".
So now I'm picturing Elizabeth and Tanner (and leash guy?) manning a Tripawds booth next door to the Ruffwear booth at next years festival.

That'd be the BF manning the leash. I think I'll call him "leash guy" all weekend! LOL
We like to participate in a couple of races/events; but, if you guys want and can find us another partner in crime, we'd be happy to help man a booth...(SALLY??!!).
Oooh, I just thought about this, maybe Tanner can do the mud run and stand up paddle board events...he can show all the other pups how its done, tripawd style!
