Many thanks for being so thankful! Despite the fact this is a club nobody wants to join, we are indeed all one big happy family. Cheers.

I am very thankful today for still having my baby Champ with me. In May I didn't know if he'd make it through the summer. I am thankful for finding this website and making me comfortable and confident in the decision to amputate and know that there can be a full life afterwards. The support and knowledge here is unbelievable.
I am thankful for family, friends, having a job, a great landlady who looks at dogs as family as well.
I am thankful for my vets who, although I am a pain in the ass, work with me on the decision I fell strongly about.
I am sorry for those who have lost their furry children recently. It's not fair. May you find peace in the knowledge that you gave them everything you could and loved them so much.
Have a wonderful turkey-day.
Joy & Champ & Lady (Champ is the blonde – a rear left leg amputee who you can see is healing very well; Lady is his adopted sister who is healthy but a little adhd and very entertaining)
Ditto to everything said already. This is a great, big family and we're thankful for all of you! Coops Dad - we're awfully glad you're part of the family, and really glad you posted. This forum thread is a great read on Thanksgiving Day! Happy Thanksgiving!
Hugs, and turkey breath (hopefully a good change from poo breath) to all!

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Nothin' cuter than a Tripawd hero. Congratulations on getting well Champ! And remember Joy, you're not a pain in the ass, you're just being your dog's best advocate!
We are sooooo thankful for this great family here. Hoppy Thanksgiving!
