I am very thankful today for still having my baby Champ with me. In May I didn't know if he'd make it through the summer. I am thankful for finding this website and making me comfortable and confident in the decision to amputate and know that there can be a full life afterwards. The support and knowledge here is unbelievable.
I am thankful for family, friends, having a job, a great landlady who looks at dogs as family as well.
I am thankful for my vets who, although I am a pain in the ass, work with me on the decision I fell strongly about.
I am sorry for those who have lost their furry children recently. It's not fair. May you find peace in the knowledge that you gave them everything you could and loved them so much.
Have a wonderful turkey-day.

Ditto to everything said already. This is a great, big family and we're thankful for all of you! Coops Dad - we're awfully glad you're part of the family, and really glad you posted. This forum thread is a great read on Thanksgiving Day! Happy Thanksgiving!

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!
