I just love how you can take her into restaurants in Europe! And who wants bread. . .unless there are two pieces with meat in the middle!
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
As I was starting to get bored of staying still for the camera, I saw my Mom's lovely hostess and her daughter coming towards me and I was thrilled with all the cuddling that followed

And then Mom took me in the car and she was sooooooooo excited I knew something really great was about to happen 
So we drove for a while and got to a cafe and I couldn't believe my eyes ...
Lindsay and Joe were there, I hadn't seen them for at least 2 years so it was really moving for me ...
The only disappointing thing is Cocoa, their sweet lab, was not with them ...

Lindsay is one of the sweetest girls I have ever met, she whispered in my ear and I loved to hear all about how beautiful I am and how she and Joe missed me dearly and Cocoa was so sorry she couldn't join me but she isn't in France right now ...

From there we went for a hop in Mandelieu ...
During some months of the year water cascades down from the mountains and creates the most beautiful pools that make us dawgs go crazy with excitement
Auntie Marta and auntie Rosa were really happy to see me and their fur baby together even if I tried to get to the water as much as I could ...
Mom explained I couldn't get my bandage wet so I eventually gave up the idea of playing in the water with Caramelo ...

Eurydice, I agree with you. Those are stupid little hedges around that fountain. Where the heck are you suppose to put your leg when taking a drink?
And then!? Caramelo!!! All I could say is AWWWW, AWWWW, AWWW. Caramelo loves you. He even stands up on hind legs to get taller for a really good smooch.

We all had the greatest time and I am really proud to say I hoped for at least 2 km and was leading the way in front of everybody, hoping and hoping and hoping non stop
On the way back I had to rest quite a few times but hey, I was the leading dawg for the first part
Let me just explain how we all got together.
Mom went for coffee with Lindsay and Joe who were meeting their friend Myra and family later on.
We were meeting Rosa, Marta and Caramelo after coffee for a hop in Mandelieu.
Well, as always with Mom, she starts with two people and ends up with ten, plus dawgs!
I am so lucky to have Mom she gives me the best time ever every day
And she loves me more than she can say
