Today Mom took me to Anne's agility field and we met a couple of Mom's close friends and their doggies !
Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Auntie Angelique did a little fetch game with me and I did notice she didn't throw the ball far which was so sweet of her
I could have gone further but I restrained myself and played along as I so love Angelique

By the way, I heard Angelique tell Mom that she came to meet us with a terribly broken heart and Philippe, her husband, had not been able to sum up the courage to join her and Fripon...
Mom had sent her pictures and videos of me goofing about and enjoying myself but poor auntie Angelique confessed to Mom she only saw one and couldn't watch the others as she got too emotional ...
Thing is, you see, she met me years ago so of course she had this vivid memory of me pounding about, running like lightening and she thought I would now be ... well ... an handicapped dawg ...
She told Mom she had been repeating the sentence "I will not cry" over and over again in her head whilst she was driving to meet us and once she arrived and before she even saw me she knew she wouldn't be able to contain her tears so decided there and then she would go away as required to have a good cry and then would join us again ...
WEELLLLLLLL ...
Guess what ?
As I saw her and Fripon I was ecstatic with joy and hopped like a bat out of hell to greet them and jumped up and down, licked her face madly ... you all know how over the top I can be ...
So auntie Angelique was sooooooooooo happy I swear I could see her heart pounding in her chest !
And she did shed a few tears but these were happy tears !!!!
Now she knows how happy and skilful a dawg on three can be
