Yesterday (4th May) was Eurydice's 6th ampuversary 🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯 cannot believe where time went ⌛️📆
Here's what we've done 🎈🎈🎈
Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)
Mom was in an even better mood than normally (even if that sounds impossible)
As soon as I woke up this morning she kissed and hugged me so much that even I thought it was a bit over the top ! ...
Well, it turns out it is my 6th ampuversary, I had forgotten all about it !
Mom said my day would be full of surprises and everybody knows I ADORE surprises !!!!
So we got in the car and once we arrived I could sniff something .... oooooh ..... I know this smell ......

I managed to restrain myself as I was always told I should greet her in a well mannered, calm way and so I did but .... oh boy ... my heart was pounding inside my chest with all the excitement of seeing her again !
