Found this one on Facebook, don't know if it's been posted here yet, but thought of Comet when I saw it.

I'll tell you what Fortis - we sure could use some of that around here! I dont know about you But Cooper has been a bit worn out with all the anti monkeybutt activites going on! I wonder if you sprinkle it around the house or if you sprinkle it right on the monkey dog...............

So, Brett, if I'm planning on running the Las Vegas half-marathon next December (I'm giving myself LOTS of training time) I should start sprinkling it on my food now??

OH MY DOG! Gift paks and even in lady pink! Thanks Chuy's mom for the FB head's up!
Who in their right mind would come up with "anti-monkeybutt"?????????
I think you sprinkle it on yourself to keep the monkeydogs away! No sure though! It may work in their food!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Carmen, we might have to join you in the halfer. But not without a regular application of Anti MB first!
Seriously though, let us know if you're going to do it. I just convinced Admin (I think) that we can do it.

WHAT??!! You'll come to Vegas if Carmen comes?
She was hung-over at the last one (my interpretation, not hers) and couldn't run because she fell and broke/sprain/something her foot.

This notion that we could run a half marathon just popped into my head this weekend after I rode my bike 60 miles.
But maybe we shouldn't do it in Vegas. Being under the influence of boozin' marathoners might not be such a good idea! 😉

If you like bike riding, consider participating in the MS150 Bike ride out here. I used to do it every year, then got too busy with work to train. The route out here (The national MS Society hosts them all across the country), usually goes from Vegas through The Valley Of Fire (beautiful scenery) to Mesquite. 100 miles on Saturday and 50 on Sunday (all for a good cause!) Maybe we can bring the doggies for a ride! (Ha! Ha!)
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

I am serious! I need to triumph over the debacle last year. The starting line was so close!! I could see it; I was almost there. Bummer.
My friend and I have pinky swore we're going to do it next year (and we LOVED the outlet malls - the broken ankle, which I thought was just a particularly painful sprain, I managed to shop anyways - AND I wasn't drunk or hungover. Sheesh.). I might even convince hubby to come.
So yes. I am very, very serious. I've heard the course iin Vegas is nice and flat.
