Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Hi everybody 
Angel Eurydice here.
It will be four months exactly tomorrow since I earned my XXL silver wings and boy, oh boy, have I been having LOTS of fun flying from cloud to cloud and goofing about with all the other Angels ...
I have to say even my adored Mom would not have been able to throw a pawty like the one my three legged Angel friends prepared for me!
EVERYPAWDY was there to welcome me, Happy Hannah was the first one to bark and had the HUGEST grin in her fluffy face and personally introduced me to ALL others
The band was playing "who let the dog out ... hoo-hoo-hoo hoo-hoo" and the menu was beyond my wildest expectations !
I had the most amazing time in Paradise for quite a while but then started missing Mom, Pedro and Woody and all the things we used to do together.
Sooooooooo .....
I convinced Mom to take another European trip wth Pedro the penguin and Woody the woodpecker.
I, of course, AM COMING TOO !!!!!!!
And we will have the most loving, exciting, fun time again, the four of us going on walks, seeing the sites, visiting friends and cuddling up together in bed at the end of each marvellous day.
I know Mom cannot see me but I WILL BE there every second of each wonderful day
So, hold onto your seats and let's celebrate the fact death is not the end ... it is just the beginning of a happy new life, in Angel form !

I did not know anything about the Barneys, sure hope Pedro and Woody can meet them at some point 
Eurydice's Pedro and Woody are not travelling anywhere without Momma here so I guess I gotta travel further than initially planned 
Otherwise, Barney can come and visit us in France, we'd love that and promise to take lots and lots of pictures !!!

Her last pictures will have to wait a bit as I am still not able to publish them ... but that day will definitely come at some point.
