EURYDICE!!!!    I LOOOOOOOVE VEING IN SOME MORE ADVENTURES WITH YOU AND WOODY AND PEDRO!!!  ,Oh yeah, and your Mom too!!!

I've been waiting to take this adve ture with you u til I had time to relaxe and savour every single moment!! 🙂  Today is the day!!

To be with you again and to see some famir faces and some familiar places when we got to travel with you before makes my heart smile!!!  Yeah, sometimes I would get a little misty eyed because.....just because....

Some of the "now you see me..."  photos were so spot on in everyway!   You have DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY made us feel your presence Miss Cow!!! 🙂   You gave us a visual  and an auditory adventure just like you always have!!  And you didn't miss a beat!!

To have Pedro and Woody accompany you and your Mom made everything so special!!   I had to chuckle at the thought of what people were thinking when they saw this grown woman (yes, that would be your Mom) carrying Pedro and Woody with her for all these great photo shoots!  And I even chuckled more knowing your Mom was talking to them AND TO YOU, as others looked on so clueless!:-)    Miss Cow, thank you soooooo much for continuing to share your adventures with us!! 🙂 🙂   It really means the world to us! 🙂   I'm not going to even try to hide the fact that we miss your earthly presence.   HOWEVER, when you take us on your adventures just like you always have....when you show us your presence, just in a different way....yeah....you are DEFINITELY still with us,DEFINITELY!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

And you know what else?   Through you, I can feel my Happy Hannah's presence...and I think all of us with occupants at the Bridge may feel the same way! 🙂 🙂 🙂  You brought an extra layer of fun and friendship to the Bridge with your love and your light, and, through your magic, their presence is somehow felt as we read every word you write.   heart  We are all so eternally grateful for you and your Mom...and for Pedro and Woody too!!

With love and gratitude always.

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Sally, I share similar thoughts. Teresa has such a wonderful mind full of wonder and delightful fantasy. The best part is that she makes the fantasy a reality and takes along for the ride.

Teresa, Pedro and Woody - I continue to enjoy your travels and meeting up with some "old" and new friends we haven't met before. I know Angel Eurydice is along for the ride sharing her delightful spirit.

Miss Cow, thanks for sharing your beautiful friends, great travels, heart-warming memories. It was you who brought us together. superstar

Did Lafayette hide in your suitcase? What a love heart

... after lunch Mom, me, Pedro and Woody headed back home but after a little while Sandrine called in a panic ...

... something was wrong with one of her horses, Gigi ...

... she'd been walking around in circles in the field and was not aware of anything happening around her ...

... she wouldn't respond to voices, light or movement ...

... Gigi was quite exhausted but her Mom was scared if she fell down she wouldn't be able to get up again ...

... a vet was called, he forced a few buckets of water down her throat as she was heavily dehydrated (we were in the middle of a heat wave with a 38 degrees/100 fahrenheit temperature) and told us from what he saw, it would be best to take her to the hospital straight away, if she could make it ...

... Sandrine rushed off to organise transport for Gigi and left Mom in the field with her ...

... at this point I must tell you a secret ...

... although Mom L.O.V.E.S horses she is at the same time scared shitless of them ...

... and to complicate matters Sandrine's other horse Cuba is a bit of a nutter and as he was disturbed to see Gigi like that he would have frequent bursts of running fast and kicking the air quite near Mom and Gigi ...

... but I had a plan winker

... I guided Mom all along and kept whispering in Gigi's ears she should follow my Mommy heart ...

... and so she did for the best part of an hour until transport arrivedheart

... we made it to the hospital and Gigi was immediately taken into the intensive care unit ...

... Mom contacted Tina, Manni's Mom and told her about Gigi's symptoms ...

... Tina is a very experienced horse lady and immediately asked Mom whether a certain type of flowers were growing in Gigi's field ...

... sadly, the answer was yes ...

... by this time, Gigi had an ultrasound and blood tests done and there was damage to her kidneys ...

... when Mom asked the main vet about those flowers he said yes that would explain all of Gigi's symptoms ...

( ... isn't it incredible Tripawds people are SO marvellous and SO ready to help anytime and in any circumstance big-blink ...)

... hey Gigi, don't feel scared ...

... Angel Eurydice is with you heart ...

... yes Gigi, she truly is, said Pedro and Woody ...

Ohhhhhhhh poor Gigi, I'm really sorry to hear she went to the Bridge. Watching a horse go through something like that is ruff.

What a fortunate thing that your mommy, Pedro and Woody were there to help make the transition easier.  Yes, heaven does have a beautiful new horse to lead the way for our heroes. I can see the pawrade now!

I didn't know that about Tina, she is a neat lady. That's amazing she was able to pinpoint the cause so quickly. Tripawds people are so wonderful.

Did you look that up?? Ragwort! Hey, I learn something new every day. I remember frantically trying to find the word for that nasty plant in English - no such luck. But I guess a picture and Latin sometimes is enough, too.

I am so sorry I couldn't help more. It is indeed on a different scale to see a horse go through this. Hugs to Sandrine again, please. I know how hard that must have been (and probably still is) on her. Not many people know about the dangers of that plant so please tell her to not beat herself up over that.

Hugs

I'll be back, but just wanted to get this link posted from Google, even though it's several years old.  That Tina knows her stuff!!

This made me recall a sad case a couple of years ago when a recent tripawd ate a poisonous plant or weed jn their yard.  Maybe JERRY can reczll the czw, because it seems like it was sort of a "common" plant or weed.

Just so very, very sorry to hear this a out Gina.  It is comforting to know Eurydice was there to guide you (a d Pedro and Woody too) and to guide Gina as she made her way to the Bridge.heart
