Hi:  I just tracked down the maker of the rabies vaccine that more than likely gave Zoey her Injection Sarcoma.  I have a copy of the certificate and it was the only vaccine she received at the shelter before my adoption of her.  I also have proof she did not have any other rabies vaccines during the 6 years I have had he as I have all of her records to date.  I was adamant about no vaccinations, since I previously had a cat with this nasty sarcoma and I couldn't help her, since back then vaccines were given in the scruff.  So, my policy for my indoor cats was no vaccinations since that awful experience.

Has anybody had any success or advice for me as I follow through with attempting to get them to pay which I have read is a possibility.

Thanks!

I found out that the rabies shot was given in the right hip, and the fibrosarcoma is on the left leg.  So I am ruling out a vaccine associated sarcoma.

Ah! Well I'm sorry there was no connection there, we always wonder what caused cancer if it happens. It's such a tricky beast!
