Hello, my senior dog Zeke just had an amputation of the back leg this May. I would love any information on rehab for post surgery recovery, we live in north Dallas. Please share any info or ideas, we could use the help. Thank you all!

Hi there Zeke & Lilly, welcome! What was the reason for the amputation? Just curious.

Good for you, for wanting to know more about post amputation rehab. It's so helpful for both dog and parent, that the Tripawds Foundation can pay for your first rehab visit ! The link has tons of info for you.

As for canine rehab in north Dallas, here are some practices that offer rehab therapy:

http://www.coit.....hvet.com

https://www.nor.....rehab.com/

https://www.har.....ilitation/ (this might be a little far)

And this directory may have some near you:

https://www.utv.....crp-texas/

Be sure to check out the Tripawds Gear blog and our e-books for tons of pointers about rehab and exercise!

Thank you so much Jerry for the directory and other links. I will be emailing several facilities to see which fits our needs the best! If we have any more questions I will be back! Zeke and I really appreciate your help!
