Hi there, I am writing from South Africa. I do animal rescue and found an emaciated dog, with terrible mange who had been hit by a car, left leg, which could not be saved - the SPCA were going to put him down right there and then but I just couldn't let him go because despite his pain he licked my nose, and to me it was a plea for help. He is doing better now despite a very poor start in life but gets terribly tired on our little walks and I've recognised that he needs a harness with support. I've been in contact with Ruffwear and they kindly directed me here because they do not ship to South Africa. Is there anyone who can help? I might be able to get hold of a few dollars I could send, but have no credit card. We would be extremely grateful for any advice or help.Hardy is medium-sized, sturdy build but slender legs.

Warm greetings from South Africa,

Lorna and Hardy

Interesting that Ruff Wear would refer you to us... since they drop ship all our orders directly, "we" cannot deliver out of the U.S. either. I'm sure you could find an online retailer that will by searching for: Ruff Wear Web Master Dog Harness

HI there

I think I have been confusing Ruffwear and Tripawds, thinking they are one and the same thing? sorry, I only signed in yesterday for the first time - I made contact via email and you advised me to try the Angel Exchange as a possible source of an unwanted harness. I don't think I am going to be able to arrange anything this way and can't afford it anyway. The Ruffwear harnesses look good and sturdy but I will get Hardy a regular harness here.

Thanks, and all the best to you all, and your precious furkids.

Sorry for the confusion. We (Tripawds) just re-sell the Ruff Wear harness . They drop ship all orders directly for us. We only do so because it worked great for Jerry and we want to offer it to others hoping to assist their dogs after amputation. Thanks for thinking of us and ood luck finding a harness for Hardy.
