Hello--
I am new to this forum and new to being a tripawd owner. It has been recommended that our lab have his front right leg amputated after sustaining an injury on the bottom of his foot while a stray. He now has a fistula, which is difficult to treat.
We have taken him to obedience school once and are going again another round! Thought wearing the harness before the surgery would be a good idea. We're thinking of having the surgery in fall, as it's not an emergency -- he can stay on antibiotics until we can do the surgery. (Our other dog is dying of cancer. Only so much we can handle!)
I downloaded the book today and learned about the harness from it and this forum.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks for joining. Best wishes for Buddy.
We're sorry to hear about your other dog living with cancer (not dying from it). Please feel free to start a new topic with details about his/her condition for more advice and support.

Thanks for the welcome. And, you're correct. Max is living with cancer. He was diagnosed with liver cancer, and the prognosis was grim. However, he is beating the odds and loving the canned food we switched him to, enjoying the extra attention and walks, and overall enjoying life.
Thank you for your order! Just sent you an email, and edited this topic's title.
