Sammy has his surgery monday so we probably won't need it for a couple of weeks.  I don't like to buy things on-line (I am way too old fashioned I guess) So if I can't come up with one this way do you know if there are actual stores that sell this type of thing?

To find a retailer near you who sells the Web Master harness , try the Ruff Wear Store Locator.

You could always consider buying a harness here as a contribution to support this community, rather than a purchase! winker

we purchased a ruff wear harness through tripawds.com for gayle.  following the measurement chart, it was easy to find out the right size, and we were pleased with speed of shipping, etc.  i know purchasing on-line can be 'iffy' sometimes, but we were very happy to buy through the site - i think we saved $$ from the fetchdog price, if i remember correctly...  just as a suggestion...  hugs to sammy!!!

Yeah, I don't trust the whole giving information on the web thingy, either. However, I did get my harness through tripawds and it was here quickly and without issue. I will totally shop here again!

I too had a good experience purchasing through this site. Ordered it on a friday and it came the following thursday (good considering it was right before the weekend...). I too think it was cheaper here because the shipping is already included in the price. What you see is what you pay!

how big is your dog, you say you need a large but i have a medium comming to me from idillion, Drew is starting to walk on his own so i wont need it that long and if it will fit your dog i can just send it too you... the plan was i use it while i need it and then ship it to another tripawds member that needs it too.... gonna call it "captain jacks helping paw" and send it through the tripawd community, if nothing esle you could use it to see if you like it and then buy one for yourself and send this one to someone else that may need it 😉

Hello chasenthunder, my boy weighs 104.7.  I will go onto the ruffware site to see what that equates to.  I think that would be a large but maybe a medium would work.  Thanks for the offer and I will gladly accept it.  I do agree with the pay it forward.  He won't need it for a couple of weeks until we get his stitches out anyway so if you could check back on this thread or I can pm you.   I like that this place is all about helping each other.  Priceless.

Ok guys if the medium doesn't work from Chasenthunder I will do my first ever order on-line.  Trust in the process right?

I have Raven's/Mile's Large I can loan you if the Medium is too small!  Let me know.  He can do without it for a while just fine.

Thanks Dawn,

I will have to measure him after Tuesday when he comes home.  I like your signature, Miles is so lucky to land with you, someone who  understands his needs.

I will let you guys know as soon as I can 🙂

Ruff Wear harnesses are sized according to the dog's girth, not weight. Please review sizing instructions carefully. Sammy could be a medium or a large, just depends on the chest size.

First ever order? Wow! Hey, we're here to help. We've been doing this a long time and can walk you through the process if you'd like OK? Good luck!

Oh My Goodness.... Today i recieved the used ruffwear harness that was sent to me to help Drew.... I am very shocked, at the quality of this contraption.... wow.... Imma be honest and the last few things i have ordered on the enternet for my dog got to me and I was half tempted to send it back. they tend to look nothing like the picture and they tend to look dull and weak insted of the strong and shiney they make the pictures out to be.... but WOW! this is nothing like it, ruffwear has officially outdone themselves and thier compeditors because agian the harness i have is USED but it is GORGEOUSand looks and feels very durable... I am shocked, and am thinking about buying one for myself maybe to use for my SAR.

let me also add that the steps that are on here (pet loader) are exactly as represented also...I just can't use them because they are too heavy for my poor falling apart body.

The Ruffwear harness and the steps were both quality items and I would assume that anything else purchased here is the same!!

I don't think I will be needing the harness after all. I had forgotten that my rottie mix that passed in November had a sling harness.  I had put that away when she passed because it was too difficult to look at her things.  My husband dug it out and we are off and running again.

Thanks all for the help and support,
