Good Morning,
I am seeking a Large Helpemup harness for my 100 lb Lab. We are 4 days post op right rear leg amp. She is a very skittish dog and weak on her left rear leg. We have tile and she is slipping everywhere. I am going to try to get some mats, but I think a harness would be the better long term solution.
I am open to other harnesses if people have suggestions.
Thanks so much!
Jocie in Florida.
Hi Jocie & Pup, welcome! What a cute dog, what's her name?
Don't know if anyone has one of those harnesses but hopefully someone does. Our Tripawd-recommended harnesses are all in the Tripawds Gear Shop , in our Shopping page, you may want to hop over to see our favorites.
Here is another helpful post about what harnesses will and won't do. We recommend covering floors with traction , along with a harness like the Webmaster Plus, for the best combination, especially for a larger dog like yours.
For more tips, hop over to Jerry's Required Reading List and check out our Tripawds e-books too. Hope to hear more about your journey elsewhere in the Forums, let us know if we can help.

Her name is Jocie. 🙂
First let me say that I am very thankful for this site!
I did search your gear shop and like the looks of the webmaster plus; however, I saw recommendations for the helpemup harness for those with weaker back legs. Maybe I should try the webmaster plus first?
Thank you so much for the quick reply. I do appreciate everyone's time!
I just got the L/XL Webmaster Plus for my 100 pound lab/Dane, Otis (front leg amputee). We haven't been able to use it much yet - he was a bit sick from chemo last night, but it fits him perfectly and seems like it will do the trick for us.
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
Glad to hear we could be of assistance. Many people do find the HelpEmUp to be useful so you just might. What we like about the Webmaster (especially the Plus version) is it offers lifting assistance without being cumbersome for you or the pup.
