Following Cooper's lead-- time to let go...
Scout neither liked nor needed this harness-- he was up on his feet as soon as he came out of the anesthesia, and he was going up and down the stairs (unassisted) within days of his surgery. He was one tough cookie. However, the webmaster harness came in handy in other situations... we live in tornado country and dogs are not allowed in public tornado shelters. A dog wearing a sharp, red ruff wear harness is easily confused with a service animal, so when an F4 was headed our way, tripawd service dog Scout headed to the shelter
Size wise-- Scout was 64 lbs post-amputation, and this harness was a little big-- the straps were fully tightened.
Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011
Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011. Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs. If love alone could have saved you…
What? No dogs in public shelters? That is crazy! OMD I had not idea, thanks for the paws up. Until this terrible rule is gone, I say...Webmasters for everyone who lives in tornado country!
That's so sweet of you to offer the harness, I know it will be put to great use. {{{{hugs}}}}

Now for my Admin Guy imitation:
Anyone who thinks they could use the harness should check out the sizing HERE, scroll down to the chart. The fit is based on girth not weight.
OK, now back in my voice.... whoever is lucky enough to get this harness will have some very good juju. I remember your story about how Scout got his name. I know it is hard to let go of things, you are being very generous.

Hi, if it's still available and you don't mind, I would love to have Scout's harness. My dog, Crystal, is having her front right leg amputated tomorrow (I'm so nervous!) and I think the harness would be a big help in helping her recover. Thanks.

Scout's harness in now TAKEN. In one of those sweet twists of fate, Scout's one year ampuversary is today, January 11. How I wish he were here to celebrate... Crystal is having her amputation today (sending hugs your way, brave girl!)-- I think she was destined to receive Scout's harness. From one 1/11 tripawd to another.

Seriously cool coincidence, and a very sweet thing to do. Thanks for updating us.
