We're offering one medium DogLeggs vest at no charge to anyone who needs it for their dog or any organization that can use it to help either Tripawds or just elderly dogs that needs some help. It was a great value to Celeste when she developed a nasty hygroma on her elbow which was continually being rubbed and pressurized (Hint: use slim disposable panty liners inside the sleeve for cleanliness and little extra protection).
The vest was for a medium sized dog (65lb pre-amputation) with her left leg amputated - it will not work for a right leg amp! DogLeggs are custom made so I can't promise that it will fit but please take it if you think it might and pass it on if it doesn't. Hopefully this picture gives an indication:
See here (http://www.dogl...../amputees/) for the specifics on the these vests and here (http://www.dogl...../index.cfm) for general info about DogLeggs. This is the same elbow protection often recommended in Tripawds posts.
This was used quite heavily for six months but is in great shape. It's been washed but still has some dog hair on it (doesn't everything?). We'll pay shipping costs within the US or Canada, we may ask you to help if you require international or expedited shipping.
PM with questions or if you think you can find a home for this.
In Peace,
Colin
Lesty really looked great in her DogLeggs! I'm so glad to hear it helped with her hygroma, they are such challenging conditions.
Here's a Tripawds Gear post we did about DogLeggs.
Thank you Colin, that is really sweet.

I am putting this up as AVAILABLE since I no longer need it. It helped Chance out a lot with his hygroma which fully healed. Anyone who wants it can PM me and I will ship it to them.
Chance is a 10ish Shetland Sheepdog Mix who was rescued from the shelter in January of 2013 and diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in September of 2013. He had a front left amputation and 6 rounds of carboplatin. He had a great 11 months and was diagnosed with lung mets on 8/23/14. He was released to the bridge on 8/28/14.
That is so nice of you, thank you very, very much for passing it along. I will change the title. ((((hugs))))
