It's been 2 weeks since Crystal passed away and although I miss her every day, it's time that I passed along some of her things.
1. Large red Ruffwear harness that used to be Scout's
2. Small Ruffwear boots that used to be Trouble's
3. XL Pawz that our neighbor kindly bought for Crystal
Please let me know if your Tripawd could use any of these things.
I can imagine how hard this is for you to do but I hope your heart is warmed by just how many families are helped by these angel dogs. Some of these items move through multiple dogs and it's just amazing to read later how emotionally powerful it is to receive something so special. Dakota has a harness that belonged to one of our angels. I was blessed to get it and think of her every time we use it. Crystal will truly live on through these gifts you offer up in her honor. Thank you.

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

I think I might be interested in the ruffwear boots for Lupe...thinking ahead about NE winters. Need to check the size of her feet, once she decides to wake up from her early morning nap.

Yes, I definitely remember how thankful I was when Catherine sent along Scout's harness and when Shanna sent along Trouble's boots. It was so much more than just the money I was saving by not having to buy another item. Knowing that another dog used the harness or the boots and had an amazing life made me think that some of that would rub off on Crystal. And I like to think that it did. Crystal's recovery had its ups and downs but she was happy, even on her final day.
Kori: These are the boots that I have (there's 3 boots): http://www.ruff.....rip-Trex_3. Be sure to check their sizing guide because it's not intuitive. Crystal was a German Shepherd and the small fit her well. Let me know if they fit Lupe. I'd be happy to send them along!
Not sure if they will fit and really not in a place to measure her right now...if someone else wants them, please send away.

I am learning about transporting him, and live on a second floor apartment, so I have been carrying his front end and then his hind end down the steps little by little so he can pee. [He is malnourished and very weak].
There's not a huge difference in our weight...he's 85-ish I'm 110, so a harness is just what I'm looking for.
Would you kindly ask your Angel is she approves of sharing her harness with Ivan? He [and I] would be grateful.

Be sure to measure Ivan's chest, it is girth that determines a proper fit, not weight.

The harness is on its way to Ivan and kungfunurse :). The boots and Pawz are still available though so PM me if you want these.
I'm so glad to hear that. I've been following Ivan's story and am pulling for him-- could not think of a better recipient for Scout and Crystal's harness. They were such special dogs, and that harness can only bring good things for Ivan.

Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011. Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs. If love alone could have saved you…
Ivan is going to get some extra sweetness and love with the harness! I think it is wonderful!

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
I would love the little Ruffwear boots if you could let me know what size they are, as there appear to be a few on the website, Vader is a French bulldog, and we live in the UK but I'd be happy to pay postage fees and give a donation if you'd like, thank you in advance xxx

Hi, I'm so sorry I didn't see this sooner. I don't frequent this website much anymore. If you still want them, please PM me and I'd be happy to send them. I'm not sure they'd fit though as Crystal was a German Shepherd and the boots fit her well (XL size). If you think they will, just let me know and I will ship them out.
Also, for future people, please PM me so that I can send the items promptly!
