My golden Mackenzie who left us on Dec 29th has a hardly ever been worn float coat in size large. Mackenzie loved to swim and I got this for her last summer. She was such a great swimmer that she only wore it once (and then I had her wear it again for our Barney video  with Barney on top.) Other than that, it's practically brand new. I would love to donate this to any of our tripawd heroes who want to take up swimming. Please PM me if you are interested.Â

My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Whoever gets to have Makenzie's float coat will be honored!
She was a beautiful, sweet golden girl!
I bet the Angels give her nose kisses and belly rubs everyday!
Kami, what a sweet offer.Wow.
The pup who gets it will have angel wings keeping them afloat on the water. Thank you for being so generous.

Thank you all for your very kind words. I should have done this sooner and I just wasn't thinking. When I saw Bud's new float coat  a light bulb went off.  Anyway, I really hope one of our tripawd hereos is able to use this. I know that Mackenzie would want it that way.  Maddie's Mom - so sorry to hear about your loss. It is so hard to say goodbye. Bud's mom - what a great visual - that puts a big smile on my face. And Jerry, of course, angel wings....such a comforting and peaceful thought.

Hi,
My Charley is a 3.5 year old chocolate lab and his L front leg was amputated on 10-28-10 because of osteosarcoma (bone cancer). He completed 5 rounds of carboplatin chemo and celebrated his 10 month ampiversary on 8-28-11.
Charley decided to go swimming for the 1st time ever last weekend in a slough of the Mississippi River. My husband and I were shocked (he won't even sit or lay in his little blue plastic baby pool). I took lots of pictures and videotaped him swimming with tears in my eyes...he's our only child of any kind and I felt so proud watching him conquer a new challenge. Because Charley is a front leg amp, we are concerned with his endurance and would love to have a life vest for him to use if it is still.
Charley is a 65 pound male lab...lean with long legs.Â
Thank you for your generous offer.
Hugs,
Ellen & Charley 🙂
