This is Rene talking, Spirit Jerry's Mom . . .
We have a custom AST Pet Support Suit here that belonged to Jerry. It's the one he wore to test it, in the following video:
It's been sitting here in our closet, and we would love nothing more than to pass this handy suit on to another Tripawd who can use it. In fact, if you're lucky, we'll even leave some of Jerry's fur on it for good luck. Remember, it's a harness made for dogs who are more physically challenged, and it's also handy for post-surgery help (although as you can see here, dogs don't need human's help with post-surgery carrying around for very long).
The only thing is, because it's a custom suit, a dog must meet these measurements. There is maybe an inch or two of play with them, but not much, it was very snug on Jer. Here they are:
Chest: 31"
Belly: 27"
Torso Length: 16"
AST also makes an off-the shelf Get-A-Grip Harness that works very well too. This is sort of the heavier-duty version of their harness.
I figure there will be someone out there at some point who can use this, we'll hang onto it indefinitely until that special pup hops on over here.

OH MY ! Fortis is big guy! That's my chest size! (soon to be my waistline size, too)
Does that suit come with a tie?
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
THIRTY EIGHT? Wow! Even Wyatt is only a 34.
The suit comes with an undercoat of Jerry fur.

Wow, thats a really generous offer. It looks like a great product. I really like the ruff wear harness for comfort, but I feel like it's not quite sturdy enough for when I have to practically lift Sadie into the car. Unfortunately, Sadie's a bit too robust (34,30,19) but nicely proportional none the less. I bet there's a perfect pup out there somewhere (and I was looking forward to some Jerry fur)
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Sadie's voluptuous!
Have you seen the Get-A-Grip? This one has underbelly padding that is great for hoisting very heavy dogs. The downside is, it's not something you can leave on all day like the Webmaster.
If it makes you feel any better, we've never had a strap snap or buckle break on the Webmaster, and we've done a lot of heavy lifting with that harness.

I did see the Get-a-Grip when I was looking at the webmaster. It was hard to justify the expense for something I'd only use when I had to get her in the car. Also, I was being optimistic in thinking that she wouldn't need that much help. The ruff wear works ok for the car, I just feel like just having those 2 straps underneath her must hurt a bit when that's all that supports her 81lbs (about 10lb weight loss since the day of her amputation by the way ) The weight loss was not due to a loss of apetite, we put her on a diet so she would have less stress on her 3 legs. Well, I suppose about 3lbs was the nasty cancer leg . Thanks for the advice though (and Sadies says "thanks for the compliment"!)
