Hi,

My boy Baxter was diagnosed with hemangiasarcoma of his left rear leg last Jan. they figured he'd only live about 4 months. He made it almost 11 months. Good months. For anyone questioning how they manage on 3 I would not do anything differently. This was my second tripawd I had a cat who lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma and he lived almost 7 years. Having dealt with it before I knew they adapt well. The only issue he had was slipping on the hard wood floors. I have a good amount of area rugs and runners I bought for him. I would love to be able to give them to anyone that could use them. They are located in Uxbridge MA If you would like them and could pick them up please text 508 245 0445 or email aaronrr02@aol.com please text or email thanks

Aaron, thank you for posting and sharing these rugs with the community. I'm sure there is a northeast member who can use them.

We would LOVE to hear more about Baxter's story (that longevity with hemangio is truly miraculous!) and also your Tripawd kitty who had osteo. Wow, talk about rare.  We happen to have a long-term kitty member here who is kicking osteosarcoma's butt, two years and counting, you should check out Jill's blog. Consider sharing your story for Tripawd Tuesday (scroll down a post to find out details).

May Baxter and your kitty's spirit shine twice as bright now and forever, guiding our Tripawds here on earth so that they too may have long, healthy, happy lives ahead.

Way to go Baxter! You blew statistics out of the water and lived life to the fullest in your terms and your time frame!! Good job!!

That's very kind of you to offer these helpful tools. What a lovely offer.

When you can, we'd love to hear more about your amazing boy....and pictures too! Stay connected to us. We understand the depth of loss of a beloved pet...especially a heroic and brave ripawd! The void is sucky. I know you and Baxter had THE best time ever loving each other and enjoying the bliss of being together.....hold onto those wonderful memories!

Sending you love...

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too
