Yes, maximutt, it was a sunny & mild day at the beach, and the dawggies had plenty of room for running and playing.
Woweee! A sunny day in February in Humboldt County, I never in a million years thought I'd see that! What fun you guys, it's so neat to think that you found each other and got to meet. Here's to flying the Tripawds Flag on Jerry's home turf, his favorite beach in the absolute world! I know he was there running alongside you in spirit, did you feel him?

Although we're ahead of our average seasonal rainfall--we adopted Phoenix in a torrential downpour two months ago--there have been bunches of sunny days this winter. Sunday's temp was 70 degrees, which you know from having lived here is a rare mark to reach in our cool weather. There was no wind by the Pacific on Sunday, so a good day for wearing shorts & T-shirts.
I am sure Jerry's happy spirit was present on his favorite beach.
Samoa Beach is a place with many good memories for me, including proposing to my wife Judi. It's also the first beach I took Guinness (my Irish Setter) after we arrived in Humboldt County at the end of our cross-country car trip from New York City back in 1976-77.
Wow where was all that good weather when WE lived there? Enjoy!!!
How cool you moved there during such a cool era. We missed that party.
