Hi Tazzy and pack,
Welcome to Tripawds.
I deleted your email address from your original post. I would encourage you to wait for people to respond to this forum, then exchange email address or phone numbers through the Private Message (PM) system here. You get there by clicking on the 'in box' link just above the forum topic. Of course you can post your email address here if you really want to, but I wanted you to be aware of the PM system we have.
You are the third Tazzy I know of at Tripawds, but the first with a 'y'. We have two Spirit Tazzie's hopping around here somewhere.
Tell us more about your Tazzy- why did he/she lose a limb? Are you dealing with cancer? How old is your pup? What breed? And of course I am assuming Tazzy is the name of the Tripawd?
And- you are not alone- you have found a very large community of Tripawds here. We are not geographiclly close, but we consider ourselves family!
So- tell us Tazzy's story!
Karen and the pugapalooza
p.s. as long as you log in your future posts will not have to wait for moderation, only the very first post has to wait.
Howdy Tazzy!
We're so glad you chimed in! Karen's right....we are a worldwide group, with members who often have casual get together with others. In fact we just met two longtime members this weekend in Nevada!
I also moved your post, since this topic, "Tripawd Parties" is where our members who are geographically close will plan and schedule parties. I also added a blurb on our Tripawds Facebook page to see who else might be near you.
We would love to hear more! Do re-visit the "Share Your Story" Forum to tell us about your Tripawd hero!

Hi Tazzy
Tazzie Two here, although unfortunately no longer in visible form. I hadn't noticed your post, but saw you listed as a new member and admin directed me this way.
Boise! My Tazzie has a good friend in Boise who is a dog lover. Even though his dog has four legs, he certainly heard a lot about tripawd-life during our journey last year. In fact, he came up here, to Canada, during Tazzie's final days last December (2009).
Tell us about your Tazzie - girl or boy and what kind of breed or mutt? Why is she or he a tripawd? We'll call you Tazzie Three, although maybe there were more before Pam and I came along.
Susan of Tazzie Two
(Tazzie One is a vet named Pam who had a mastiff, also with bone cancer).
Welcome Tazzy with "y"!
Give us the scoop on your pup! We'd love to hear!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Hey Comet - Tazzie with an 'ie' here.
Tazzy's profile says something about "a car accident but doing fine", so he or she must be an accidental tripawd. She probably just posted and thinks people will email her if they happen to live there. I don't recall any other tripawds from Boise since I've been here.
I bet my Boise friend would be interested in meeting another tripawd named Tazzy. He tried to drive to CSU with us for treatment, but we didn't make it past South Dakota.
I hope you are holding up okay.

hummm, I thought I was being a good moderator- she posted her email address in her first post and I deleted it.... I wonder if your right- and now she is just waiting for the email to come to her... oops.
I hope she comes back to check here since her email is not in her profile.
Karen

Tazzy does have blog, no posts yet, but she has left a comment with good news!
