Hi Everyone,
I’m new to the Tripawd community and would love to meet up with some other Tripawds and their humans in our area. We live in Western, MA (Springfield Area) but are willing to travel (day trip) throughout the New England (?Eastern NY) area.
My 9 year old Weimarainer, Ollie, had his front left leg amputated a little over two months ago due to Fibrosarcoma. He’s doing great and we’d love to meet up with some others for some play time!
Feel free to get in touch if you’re interested in setting up a pawty in this area!
Thanks,
Jessie

We would take a road trip if you want to meet the Grand Poo-bah of the Eastern Monkeybutt Federation
Spirit Samson was Spirit Tripawd Daisys four legged "brother" and ruled as the self proclaimed head of the Monkeybutt Federations East Coast Division. Lady Chunky Monkey stayed from Oct 2011 and left for the bridge in Apr 2012. Miss Perdy is left and has some big pawprints to fill.
Do you have what it takes to be a Monkeybutt? Find out more at the Monkeybutt Federation
Hi Jessie & Ollie - I live on the opposite coast so can't join the party, but just wanted to say welcome to Tripawds and also say, OMD, Ollie is SO cute! Look at that smile!
Welcome,
Jackie, Angel Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Oh Ollie, you are ADORABLE! We love Weims!
Thank you for sharing your pawty idea here. I know we have others in the area, so keep an eye on this topic and renew it every week or so if you don't hear anything (just add another post so this gets bumped up to the top again). Also, put the word out on Tripawds Facebook too and direct folks here so you can plan. I'll help any way I can to get more folks there, just keep me in the loop.
Oh, and you can use the Private Messaging system so you don't have to put your email addy out there on the web, if you prefer.
Can't wait to hear more about your Tripawd Adventures Ollie!

How about either the weekend of June 24th or 25th or July 14th or 15th. I’m free both of those weekends. Either day. Maybe somewhere in central MA since some of us are East, some West and some in between. Know of any good parks or places to meet in the area that are dog-friendly? I have a GREAT place to meet out here in Northampton but might be a little too far for some of you. Thoughts? Looking forward to getting together with other Tri-pawd families!!!
Aweseome! We love to see folks who want to plan one. Let us know how we can help. When you pick a date, we can start sending out press releases and such. This will be fun!
