Wa t to add to the WELCOME HOME chorus!! 🙂 Being home with Cooper is the best therapy 🙂

I know, it sure is!!!!
Cooper (11/11/11 - 3/29/24) was a hound-collie mix "mutt" who was badly injured as a puppy and lost his leg at 7 months of age. We adopted him after the operation. He' was wonderful companion and comforting presence in our family for 12 years. He lived a fabulous life on three legs and was an inspiration to all. We will never forget our Coopie-Doopie-Doo.
Hi everyone
I sorta dropped the ball on this one, with an old recurring foot issue cropping up, work and stuff...plus the damn HEAT has been pretty bad for both Tai and me. We pretty much dash from one a/c to the next - the humidity really, moreso than the heat; neither one of us enjoys it. We live in New England, what the heck 🙂
If anyone is still interested, I'd love to meet some other TriPawds and their pals. The queen (Tai, of course) moves a bit slower these days and naps more than she walks, but she's always up for a ride in the car and likes to meet new people and usually dogs. So if anyone is interested, post here, maybe we can get something going.
Dog Mountain has their Fall Dog Party on October 6, but if that doesn't work maybe we can come up with something. Hope everyone is doing well.
Oh Tracey I hope you are better now and things are cooler for you guys!
I hope the pawty can happen. We will assist to get the word out however we can once a day time and location are confirmed.

Hi! Just weighing in on this, it's been a couple months. The dog party on the mountain is a week from today. I don't think I can do it.
I'm not sure if I mentioned, but I am going to be moving to South Carolina in the spring of 2019. So, I am already starting to pack and clean out my Massachusetts house, using every weekend to do that. And one weekend a month I'm in SC setting up the new house. So, it's been kind of hard to schedule in things.
Also, the place in VT is about a 4-hour drive for me in each direction, so just a tad too far, as we would have to stay overnight someplace.
Cooper's birthday is 11-11. We usually get together with his and Charlie's littermates on Veterans Day weekend, usually on the beach in Gloucester, Mass or one of the other beaches up that way (Salisbury, Newburyport, Ipswich, etc.). I'm not sure if we are doing it this year, but someone usually brings it up about a month ahead of time (so, any day now!). I can keep you all posted if you'd like to join us. Wouldn't it be funny to see Cooper's littermates (all look alike) and then a bunch of tripawds!? Ha ha
Take care!
Kathy, Cooper's mom
