Hi Everyone! I just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that Proud Pet Day was a great success and everyone just LOOVED Barret! He was a stellar Tripawds representative!
I kept getting a lot of people asking if he was up for adoption... I had to resist the urge to padlock him to me so he wouldn't get stolen (I'm keeping an eye on you... Erica!)
He had a big day and was exhausted for the rest of the weekend (and stuffed to the brim full of treats people were feeding him to play on the FitPaws Balance Disk). He loves the spotlight though, so he didn't mind!
I wrote a quick post about the day here on That Pet Blog if you have time to read it. I'll post some pictures too.
P.S. I met Jim and Rene in Las Vegas for BlogPaws and they're even more awesome in person than they are online (if you can believe it). That Pet Place was thrilled with the level of interaction we got on social media by attending the conference and by the opportunities that have been opened up by attending.
I hope more of us Tripawds members get the opportunity to meet up again in the future!
Barret was diagnosed with Hemangiopericytoma May 16, 2013. Front left leg/scapula/pectoral muscle was amputated on June 11, 2013 and we've never looked back. Follow our story on http://barret.t.....pawds.com/ and read my column on That Pet Blog

Thanks Rene & Sally!
Barret is too photogenic, isn't he, haha! I just can't get enough of that boy... He did much better with all the people than we thought. He never got snippy or anything. He gave kisses to everyone who asked and to people who didn't! He barked at the birds that were there, he was terrified of them (they were LOUD).
Our company just got the opportunity to partner with our local minor league baseball team for a bark at the park day in June and another one later in the fall - you can bet Barret will be there with his bandana!
Thanks, Heather

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Awesome Awesome & more Awesome. This is so great and I am so glad that you & Barret did such a great job. I love the picture of you, Rene & Wyatt. I hope we can all meet some day.
Thank you all
