Howdy, let's meet at the Mill Valley Dog Park on October 6th at 11AM!
Bring your Tripawds, Quadpaws, Pentapaws and lets's have a good time throwing tennis balls, taking pictures and do some talking and hanging out.
Would love to meet some new folks, come on down and let's pawty!
Shelby, the P.P.
OK Shelby- I know you are a carefree gal without too many weekday obligations... but the 6th is a Thursday! I'm thinking you meant the 8th?
I know, I know- its that dang chauffeur who does your typing. Soooo hard to get good help!
We should be able to make the 8th.

Hey guys,
Are we still on for Saturday ? It's supposed to stop raining today or tonigh- but it might be a bit wet and muddy at the dog park (Sorry Mr. Chauffeur, I don't mean to usurp your weather reporting). I know the dogs won't care (except, of course for Obie). I'm up for it if others will be there.
Also- any Nor Cal Tripawds- could you use a fold-able ramp for your tripawd? Mary, Cemil's mom, lent it to me last winter and I can't use it. She is willing to pass it to someone local if you could use it. It wouldn't really be practical to ship so we are not posting in the exchange forum. I can bring it to the next meet up.

Hello all
I'm not sure if we can make it as Lylee had her 5th chemo treatment on Monday and it usually takes her a week or so to bounce back to her old self. We went for a short walk yesterday and usually she out in front of us - springing along, but alas she was feeling a bit punky and we had to help her using her ruffwear harness .
I was contemplating finding a doggie trailer/stroller for her but they are pricey and still expensive even used.
If she rebounds quickly I'll let you know.

Hi Joanne - just wanted to let you know that Abby got even more tired than usual after her 5th and 6th treatments. It scared the heck out of me (she flopped down in the middle of the street one day - not even 1/3 of the way into our usual walk), but her onc said it's normal that the effects of the chemo begin to add up and get a little worse as the treatments get toward the end.
Not to say that maybe she won't bounce back quickly - but I just don't want you to be worried if she doesn't!
Hugs and keep rocking that pink cape, Lylee! TGP furever!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
