Calling all Northern California Tripawds!!!
We need to firm up our date/time/location for our November meet up, Ma and Pa Tripawd are heading west as I type!!
(GIANTS WIN!, GIANTS WIN!)
We had set a tentative date of Nov 20th, and tentative location of Mill Valley Dog Park. (Where is Mill Valley? Just a few min from San Francisco, home of the WORLD CHAMPION GIANTS!).
Who is planning on coming, and where are you coming from?? Since it is not our usual Saturday I am worried that Shelby the PP might be booked with other engagements.
How about the Livermore contingent?
What about the Oaktown crew (which is right across the bay from SAN FRANCISCO!).
Who else is planning on coming??
You have plenty of time to order your (SF CHAMPION) Tripawds gear and get together with a great group of people, tripawds, spirit tripawds, and various quad pawds.
(Sorry I'm a bit distracted this evening being a San Francisco native and having learned all about baseball from my grandpa and waited my whole life for a World Series WIN!).
Karen and the pugapalooza
yay WORLD CHAMPION GIANTS!!! (I'm a Bay Area native too)
The 20th is on my calendar for a Tripawds meet-up--Mill Valley is okay, but do we have other central potential venues? Coming from Livermore.

OK, well as ex-San Franciscans but now official Texans, we were kinda torn about that one. But as the saying goes, when in Rome....
Thanks for starting the topic Karen, I've been meaning to do that.
We're fine with either location. We're staying in Santa Rosa that weekend so North Bay is preferable but I also understand that you guys have a long drive to get there. Wherever you'd like is fine by us. The 20th it is!

Gosh I am just barely missing you! I am sending three people to Bodega Bay (1 hr west of Santa Rosa) to do fieldwork for two weeks, then down to Carmel Valley (Nov 16-Dec 5). I was already mad, or at least jealous, since I can't go due to teaching. This doesn't make it any better. Well, have fun you all.
Rosie and her personal assistants will be passing through the area and her highness could be conveyed to mill valley for the right festivities. Giants? Like danes and mastiffs? We love Giants around here....

Believe me when we say we wish we could be there, it would be far more fun than what we will be doing.

YESSSSS!!!! Oh Rosie we HAVE to meet you! We love Giants too! This would be GREAT!!!!!!!!
Everypawdy, what do you think about Mill Valley? I know we were leaning toward East Bay but would MV be OK one more time?

We could make east bay, too. We're back and forth between Fresno and the Bay through most of Nov. so whatever works for the majority is okay with us.
Cheers,
Kat
Mill Valley would be okay with me unless no one from the North Bay is coming. Do we have a guest list?

Mary, what about that dog park in Concord? We are thinking that since the majority of Tripawders are in the EB, we'll make it there? We would be coming from Santa Rosa, so this is a good spot. Our Facebook page has a whole convo about it. I hear you've been to that park. What's the scoop with it?

Actually, the NorCal Poodle Rescue had a Pot Luck at Hap Magee Ranch Park, in Danville, CA in May. It is a rather large park and has an enclosed "Dog Park" area in the north corner of the park. The vast portion of the activities that day did not use the "Dog Park" area but rather centered in a picnic area adjascent to the parking lot and "Dog Park" area. At just 1.5 acre, this Canine Corral is much smaller than the Mill Valley park, which can be a blessing or curse depending upon your needs. Considering that I have a bright white long haired little girl that I can not depend on returning if turned loose, I have problems with the Mill Valley park. You can link to the Danville web page for the park at http://www.ci.d.....gee_Ranch/.
