Hey all,
I just an email from 2 Million Dogs (if you're not familiar with the organization yet, here's a link: http://2million.....rch-begins ). The email was a notification about the following upcoming event:
Sunday, September 30th 12pm – 3pm at Bentley’s Corner Barkery 691 E. Golf Rd, Schaumburg. Enjoy an informal meet & greet with Luke and his dogs. This event is open to the public and personal dogs are welcome. This is a free event, but donations to the foundation will be gladly accepted.
I don't see it noted on their website yet, but would think it'll get posted on their soon.
Sounds cool, though I probably can't make it down for that. I am putting the walk in illinois in my calendar though:
Sat, November 3 Randall Oaks Park 1180 N. Randall Road West Dundee, Illinois
Would be great to see other Midwest Tripawd members there!
(A link to their walk calendar is here: http://2million.....alks/walks )
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.
Videos and pics of Gerry's pawesomeness can be found at: http://gerry.tripawds.com
Thanks for the info! It just so happens that Cadence and her pack will be representing Tripawds at one of these events, not sure which one. We hope other Tripawders can make it too. Stay tuned for details!
