I feel so spoiled, the Laguna Beach Dog Park is only ~15-20 mins away from my house! Yay! Spock and Rocco and I will be there.
Right hind limb amputated 7/3/12 for OSA, started on alternating cycles of Carboplatin and Doxorubicin and oral Palladia. Single lung met 9/1. Met in the neck muscle removed 9/30. Large mass in sublumbar lymph node 10/2. Rescue chemo with ifosfamide 10/6. Mets to the rib and axillary lymph node 10/21. Started Leukeran and Pred 10/25. Wookie left this Earth for a far better place on 12/4/12. I miss you, Boo, you were my heart.
Personally, I think each and everyone of you should extend your road trip to Virginia!! This sounds like such a blast!
Can't wait to see all the pics and videos!! Post them as soon as youcan, okay? Each one will be like opening a Christmas present!
And that crazy (and I say that lovingly, of course!) Bernie Bin Laden will be there, right?
Hapy holidays to all the SoCal gang!
Sally and Happy Hannah
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Shelby REALLY? Are you in town?
We have changed the location of the pawty. Long story. Maximutt and Maxidad will share details in just a bit, since they know where it's located but it's definitely in Orange County.
We would LOVE TO SEE YOU!

To all:
I’ve been asked to post a map of Irvine Park, which is a very large park with many places to meet, so we need to coordinate where we’re all going to hook up. If you look on the map I’ve attached to this post, you’ll see two adjacent parking lots circled in green. Once you’ve entered the park gates and paid the entry fee (I don’t know how much that is since I have a year-round pass, but it’s not much), stay on the road for a hundred feet or so until it forks, one part going straight, and one to the right. Take the right-hand fork, and you’ll see the first of the two lots on your left. Try to park there. If it’s full, then continue to the next left turn, which leads to the larger parking lot. You should be able to find a spot there. Park in either one of those lots and then wait in the area between them, which is an empty bit of field where no one else will be hanging out, so you won’t be in anyone’s way while waiting for everyone else to show. Once we’re all there, we’ll move towards the lake area, which has plenty of picnic benches and places to sit.
And just to be clear, this isn’t an off-leash dog park, so make sure the leashes are handy. What it lacks in off-leash areas, it makes up for in overall ambiance and size, pretty much guaranteeing that we’ll be able to find some quiet area for ourselves where we can all relax and take it easy. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
John thanks so much for figuring this out, the map is great! That works for us, we really like the idea of just chililn instead of all-out mayhem. I think Wyatt may need a minute ti figure out it's not going to be a wild pawty but he should be OK with it! We cannot wait. So, 11 am everypawdy?

That works for me! I'll only be bringing Spock since Rocco is a lunatic on the leash. Maybe if Gustavo is able to come we can bring them both. Anyway, look forward to seeing everyone! 11am works for me.
