Yes we are all scheduled for the humane society puppy class.  What about the 22nd?  I know Pam works every other weekend, so this would be a good weekend for her.  What about Sunday, 22nd about 2pm?  Is that too late in the day?  We could do morning hours...

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us.  Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.

It says Amanda.  I haven't met anyone yet.  Golly is super smart and loves people, but she needs exposure to other puppies asap.  She is developing some not so nice behavior as she see's other dogs.  I can't wait to get her socialized!  I want to do agility with her and she can't CAN'T CAN'T be dog aggressive.

yay for Sunday?  Lets hope everyone else says yes so we can get this party started 🙂

I've met Amanda, I didn't work with her, but she brought her BC mix out to a disc dog event once, and we're FB friends.  I've heard she's good.

You might be able to help us too.  Golly is a border collie, blue heeler, rat terrier mix.  She is insanely smart... but she wants to be queen bee.  She thinks she is running this house and challenges me occasionally.   Sammy was a newfoundland mix and I never had this problem with him.

Have you run into this kind of thing with your border collie?

consistency is the key, and make her work for everything.  Want dinner?  sit, want to go outside, sit.  I'd blame it on the terrier in her.  Never had a BC that wanted to do anything but work for me, Suki my BC/jack russell has aggression issues and is a fear biter.  Also she needs at least 30min of hard running a day.  Not walking around the block but focused hard running to keep her settled.

You should look in to flyball, she's a very nice mix for it, and I'll give you a disc lesson.  I can't remember quite where you live but I go to everybuddy's agility fun in woodinville.  Michael is a very talented competitor and a good instructor but he can be a bit disorganized in class structure so some get frustrated w/that.  He'll work out great if you're the type of person who's willing to ask questions

Sunday the 22nd works for me.  And Marymoor works, too!  Can't wait to see ya'll there!!!  (I'm dogsitting that week, so I'll have two additional quadpawds -- hopefully that won't be too much Monkeybutt business for the Tripawds.)

I can do the 22nd but I would have to meet you all later (4:30?).  I have the opportunity to go to a conference in Seattle on the 29th that will cover metronomic chemotherapy as well as shock wave therapy for tendon injuries and newer treatments for lumbosacral disease.  In order to attend the conference I would have to work on Sunday the 22nd 🙁  I am off all day on Saturday the 21st but I know that won't work well for everyone.

Why don't we say 4 pm?  I think Lincoln's mom needed to meet earlier but I think she is not too far away from Marymoor Park so hopefully she can still make it.  I will try to leave work a little early!
