Abby, would you PLEEEASE come to Vegas? I really want to meet you (I think you're cute ) Besides, if you don't come over, then I have to deal with freaky ears all by myself....and there ain't NO way I'M gonna kiss him (even if it would totally annoy him!)
Hope to see you soon!
Ranger
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Oooo, Ranger... I think you are cute too!
I would love to come and meet you! I've seen a picture of you in your sexy pose! You, like me, are too sexy for your leg!! I would MUCH rather kiss you than that old Freaky Eared Monkeybutt!
Mama says she's still not sure though. I get scared in the car if we have to stay in it for too long. Mama says that is silly, because we always go fun places, but sometimes there are weird noises and I don't like that. Mama says, "We'll see." Hopefully that means YES!
Kisses,
Abby
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Sweet Abby,
I wish I could get my mom to drive me there just so I could keep you company and show you how much fun car rides are! I LOVE car rides! I especially love it when mom lets me sit in the front seat and rolls the window down for me. The front seat is a little too small for me, but it's worth it to stick my head out the window. She says some day she's gonna buy me a car with a backseat that has a window that goes down (she calls it a "4 door") Anyway, I sure hope you can come visit. But if not (and I wouldn't want you to have to be scared 'cuz you're too cute for that) mom says she would take me to see you!!!
Ranger
PS Thanks for the kisses (monkeybutt-bunny eat your heart out )

Ranger, that would be pawesome if you came to visit me! We could go to Fiesta Island - it has lots and lots and lots of room to RUN WILD.
We could run in slow-mo along the beach, and we could do a lot of kissing. 🙂
Anybody else who wants to come and visit me is welcome to come and I'll show you around my beach where I am the reigning Princess! (Even you, Freaky Ears...)
In the meantime, maybe I will still get to go to Vegas. Mama still says, We'll see...
Kisses,
Abby

We wanna come to your beach, but not when you and Ranger are doing the slo-mo kissing thing. Ewwww! Although, I think Zeffy might give you a run for your money when it comes to kisses -- today, she decided my ear was dirty and kept licking and licking and licking, till finally mom made her stop....

Ooooh! We would love to come too. But we're stuck here in Nor Cal. Lylee's West Coast buddies are going to have a fab time
So everyone take lots of pics so we can at least share in a bit of the fun!

Okay, just so the folks that couldnt come don't feel bad …
Most of the group planning on coming couldn't make the trip. Plus, the weather took an odd turn for horrible! So, our "official pawrty" is rescheduled to spring or sometime after the holidays.
Hopefully more can make our spring visit!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Oh, that's too bad. Well, hopefully we'll be able to make it in the spring.
Here I was all ready to spend the weekend being jealous of you guys...

charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Big disappointment! But I totally understand. As Kami and I have said, December is not a good month. We had to cancel last year's get-together in LA because of the 100 year torrential rains that came!
Carmen is here and we actually talked on the phone for the first time!! So nice to hear her voice after almost 2 years!! We have plans for dinner tonight. And I think Shelby's dad is on his way too from Santa Rosa.
We'll take a pic or two and have a Tripawd toast!

Ohhhh bummer! Well, we are going to try to make it somewhere near there in late January. Not the best time of year weatherwise, but isn't it always sunny in Las Vegas?
