Hey Sasha, my monkeybutt roommate (the worst one in the world) tried to kill Wyatt, too--and in his very own home! Talk about bad manners. I think maybe he just has some kind of charisma that says "take me on, baby!"
Good luck at the V-E-T. Please write back and let us know how you are.
I am not much of a playmate, but my folks are nearby you know. My Woman can always talk to you and meet you someplace if you need to connect with someone local. We didn't go to the dog park with you and Wyatt because I had surgery last week and I was not up to it. But we're close by if you need a paw.
Love, Dakota

Vet visit went great, Sasha was a trooper and her lungs look clear so we're going to go ahead with surgery in the next 30 days. Whew... now the planning is beginning. Looking into harnesses and trying to clear our schedules so that she won't be alone. I'm sure we'll be on here constantly reading and researching!! You all are such a blessing!!
Dakota, thank you so much for the support!! Don't worry, Sasha's not much of a playmate either... but we'll definitely keep your offer in mind 🙂 I hope your surgery went well and you're feeling better soon!!
It was so nice meeting and hanging out with everyone on Saturday.
Jim, Renee, and Wyatt...once again I can't thank you enough and everyone on this website for all the support everyone provided when we were going through everything with Gaby.
Sasha, that is awesome news about your lung x-rays. You will be so much happier once the surgery is over and you are fully recovered. Brooke...please let me know if you need anything.

Thank you for the good wishes, Sasha. Dakota had some nasty oral surgery that really did a number on him. He and the monkeybutt got into a tussle over food and Dakota had a canine tooth broken as a result. He had it removed surgically and 2 days later we discovered he'd somehow managed to rid himself of all 6 stitches. So back he went to get re-stitched, this time with 10 heavy-duty sutures that will require sedation to remove. I think the amputation was only slightly harder on me than this has been. He was in a good deal of pain over all of this.
Joanie and Doug, I wish I could have been there to meet you, too. Perhaps this summer we can do this again and you and Sasha's family and I can all come, along with some others. I hope we can do something like that.
