Hi fellow tripawd parents, anyone out there in the Baltimore to D.C. area who would like to meet up? Hero is full of energy and loves to spend time at the dog park, but I know he would love to see another doggy without his "spare." This is my first post so please be patient with me blush

peace, love and paws!

Welcome to Tripawds, glad you decided to try a post!  Your future posts will not require moderation.

I'm in CA so I can't help you with the East Coast folks- I hope you find someone to meet up with.

Tell us more about Hero- how old is he? what kind of pup?  Why the amp?

Hi Karen and Puga, thanks for the welcome! I posted Hero's story in the story forum. Basically we adopted him like that, they weren't sure at the shelter what happened but they found him on the side of a road with his leg all mangled, so they assume he was hit by a car, though he was only 3 months old at the time. We think he may have been thrown in a dumpster though, because he is "car stupid" and terrified of dumpsters - at about 5 feet from any dumpster he will stop moving and cross as far away as his leash will allow.

Hello all-

Sorry for the delay to respond.  I am about 70 miles from baltimore.  My tripawd is Spike and he loves being around any types of dogs, 3-legged or other.  I truly think that he doesn't realize he is any different than any of the other dogs at the dog park.  He has a 4-legged sister doberman who keeps him pretty busy.  I haven't seen many others post from our area but it would be fun to get together sometime.

Chris, even though I am relaly new to blogging, I took a chance and subscribed to your forum. I am learning new things every day from being a part of this forum. I even met a new friend on the forum. She and I have exchanged information, read each others blogs and written articles on our blogs about the other's blog and posted them to help both of us increase our readership. Thanks for spreading your knowledge around through the use of your blog and the forum that you are hosting.
