Helloooooo Texas Tripawds!
I'm ready to pawty with my friends! Let's get this pawty started somewhere near Houston.
My pack is in Livingston for a couple weeks, about 1 hour north of Houston. We've spoken with Tripawd Angel, who lives closer to Galveston, and she wants to meet up too.
What do you say? Even if I can't go offleash for another few weeks, it will still be fun to meet other Tripawders, so let's do it!
Thoughts? Ideas? Bark at me!

Keep me posted, I'll try to make it.

Hello TX Tripawds. If you come closer to Dallas we would love to bring Lila, but she is actually pretty skittish around strange dogs and strange people, so I don't think the drive to Houston is worth it for her, though we would love to meet other tripawds
Poor little hound girl just hides under my husband's legs when strangers (human or canine) are around

This isn't really my pawty, but I'll throw this out there. How would the Huntsville area be for you Kirska? I think that would be a couple hours for everyone except Jerry, and it would be closer for them.

I think a halfway point sounds great! We wouldn't be able to do anything off-leash, since our Wyatt is still recovering from surgery, so it would be a pretty low key get-together.

Oh yessss! Haven't decided on a date yet. What works for you? Somewhere between Christmas and New Year's Day would be good.

Hey all, what day works best for you? Wanna say Friday? My Momma's gonna look into a place to meet up. And it's either going to be in Huntsville, or down in north Houston. Any thoughts?

Skye and I will definetly make it. North Houston would be great but we can travel. Are you guys thinking of a place to be off leash? There are two doggie parks in The Woodlands but seem to get busy at times. There are nice parks too but not sure what kind of meeting place you guys were thinking of.
Ok, how about North Houston everypawdy? And does Saturday sound OK with y'all? If so what time?
Can't do off-leash, Wyatt is still recuperating, so even meeting at a nice park would be nice. I'll look online this morning and report back. Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Cool! We are working on packing so, whatever time works for everyone, that would be good for us. Yes, a little green area with some picnic areas would be nice. I've attached two links to two parks, i don't know if they would work but I thought I would give two ideas. Burroughs Park is big, lot's of trails, a path around a pond, lot's of picnic areas and bathrooms. Anywhere would be good for us. Can't wait to meet all the pups in person!
