Hi!

We are at Day 7 and I have noticed a couple of tiny dots of pink on by boy's T-shirt this morning, and on his bedding over the last couple of days.  Has anybody had problems with spotting/ooze and for how long can this happen?

How do the edges of the incision look?  Any redness or swelling?  Does it look infected?  Or is it just like a pinkish fluid?  Sometimes there can be what is called serosanguinous drainage from an incision, but as long as there are no signs of infection it should be fine.  It will stop in another week or so.  You can always ask your vet to take a look to make sure.

We are at Day 8 and no wound oozing that I've noticed. I agree though a few spots probably isn't so bad as long as the incision itself looks good but never hurts to ask the vet just to allay your concerns.

Incision sight looks very good. I think it is just serosanginous drainage.  Not red, no swelling, not hot to touch.
