Nicole & Daggit, thank you so much for taking the time to post. You're so right, while Lasix has been mentioned here before to help with other conditons, nobody's ever mentioned it for their girl dogs on Cytoxan.
So glad that it worked for her. Your oncologist sounds great; who is s/he?
It's especially helpful to know that you got such great prices on the prescriptions at PetCareRX, and what it cost you on a monthly basis.
Just a head's up, PetCareRX is offering free shipping on orders over $35 . Bonus!

Hi! This response is WAY overdue ... I'm so sorry I didn't return to the message board to see the responses.
Daggit is now almost 18 months post-dx and going strong! I know many oncologists believe MP is an outdated protocol; however, I believe its a valid way to go in cases that are caught early and/or not as aggressive.
Daggit's oncologist is Dr. Courtney Zwahlen, SoCal Vet Speciality Hospital, Irvine CA: http://www.petsurgery.com
HUGS & WOOFS!

Thanks for the update! Please check in once in a while to keep us posted on Daggit's progress.
