(Honestly, I should probably be on medication)
Hahahaha! I've done it for 11 years! I have every inch of Comet's body memorized! A tuft of hair out of place makes me nervous! I'm beyond meds, I'm closer to a rubber room!
Mika's mom,
Comet has never known what it would be like to walk on all four. I doubt very seriously she has ever thought about it either. What she does know is she gets everything she asks for from mommy and daddy! Therefore she is a horribly spoiled child-like dog! But I'm gonna guess she thinks it's because she has a great personality and push-over pawrents!
Non-functioning or missing legs - that's not even in a dog's vocabulary!
Wishing you all the best tomorrow!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
I hope everything goes great for Henri and Mika. Sadie was in the hospital for 5 nights I missed her terribly, but my work schedule gave me little time to be home, and my husband has physical limitations that keep him from caring for a 90lb dog so soon after surgery. I only visited her once because she was really unhappy after I left without her. Her drain was already removed and dry when I brought her home (another advantage, I guess). I bet they both do great. Keep us posted!
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.
