I am so sorry it has been this hard. I know how hard it is because Ellie also had a really rough recovery. It doesn't sound as bad as Brody's, but I do understand the worried knot in the stomach feeling. I slept on an air mattress for over a month next to Ellie's crate after her amp, so kudos on getting one and tucking yourself in near him. I don't know if Ellie cared where I was, but I needed to be there. I would take some comfort in the vets both acknowledging that this has been a hard recovery and in saying that it is a medication issue. I hope Brody can find the right combo that makes him feel better soon!

Active 10+ Pyr mix suddenly came up lame with ACL tear in left rear leg. Scheduled for a TPLO but final pre-op x-rays indicated a small suspicious area, possibly OSA, which could have caused the ACL tear. Surgeon opened the knee for TPLO but found soft bone. Biopsy came back positive for OSA. Became a Tripawd 9/18/14. Carbo6 with Cerenia and Fluids. Pain free and living in the moment. Crossed the Bridge on 7/12/15 after probable spread of cancer to her cervical spine. A whole lifetime of memories squeezed into 10 months. Here's her story: Eloise
